Clandestine Meth-amphetamine Laboratory Remediation Management and Supervision
Meth Lab Clean-up Training
Clean up regulations for meth-labs in Colorado become more complex almost daily. Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment has issued regulations for safe work practices and remediation standards that are being enforced in different counties by different methods.
Hazmat Plans & Programs was the first Colorado Safety Consulting Company to develop and implement a training course to guide remediation companies through the maze of requirements regarding Meth-Lab Cleanup.
Our course includes:
- An Explanation of the CDPH&E Regulations
- Student Hand Out with Copies of Relevant Regulations
- Sampling Techniques
- Liability Issues
- Chemical hazards
- Personal Protective Equipment and Decontamination
- Site Specific Health and Safety Plans
- Local County Representatives Talking About Their Requirements
- Training Requirements
This is a one day course of approximately eight hours. Students will receive a wallet card and certificate upon completion. Any student who wishes to repeat this class at a later date, for updates to regulations, may do so free of charge.
NOTE: HAZWOPER training prior to taking this class is strongly recommended.
