Oil and Gas Safety - 24 Hour Hazard Recognition Training
Hazmat Plans & Programs offers safety training specific to the Oil and Gas industry. Our instructors are trained and authorized as trainers in construction, general industry and fire safety for the oil and gas industry. Hazmat Plans & Programs has over 85 years combined experience in work site safety with expertise in Hazardous Materials, Explosives Safety and Fire Safety.
The 24 hour course is an excellent way to identify the hazards to the entry level person, support personnel all the way up to the site safety officer. The course consists of construction safety and general industry regulations pertaining to the oil and gas industry.

This intent of this training is to enable employees to recognize hazards and hopefully prevent incidents before they can occur. This training does not make the student a "Competent Person" by OSHA Standards or a "Qualified Person" by API definitions.
Training is 10 hours of construction safety, 10 hours of general industry safety and 4 hours of H2S gas training.
Class participants will receive 4 certificates upon course completion.
OIL & GAS 24 HOURS - Safety training provides Hazard Identification instruction on a variety of topics. Course consists of 10 hours on construction, 10 hours on general industry and 4 hours of H2S gas hazards. This course is geared toward both supervisory or entry level participants within the Oil & Gas Industry or those individuals temporarily working at refineries or just occasionally on-site in support of this expanding industry. A must, for any foreman, supervisor or those responsible for their company's safety and health program. Four separate certificates will be awarded upon successful completion of this course.
